As a key milestone, the coalition has launched its inaugural gathering on September 16-20, 2024 at the Rockefeller Bellagio Center in Italy.

This convening brought together leading experts from the financial services industry, academia, and public policy to achieve the consensus on the approach towards global carbon price discovery.

The key deliverables were the international carbon pricing standards alongside a roadmap to wider carbon pricing governance principles, an index calculation methodology as well as industry application and financial instruments development.
